This is in the category of: just in case you hadn't heard about it. Every time you do a search using GoodSearch, Fisher's Landing gets a penny. It's just that simple. Now I know a penny doesn't sound like much but if everyone used it at our school and they told their friends and relatives about it, well, it could add up very quickly.
And then I discovered that now you can shop online via GoodSearch and a percentage of your sale goes to Fisher's Landing. I recently bought a vacuum cleaner from one of the online vendors I might shop from anyway but I did it through GoodSearch and it raised $5.00 for the school on just my single little purchase.
Speaking of percentage...if I bought a gift card from the PTO Scrip order, the PTO gets a percentage of that sale, which goes directly to classrooms. Then if I use that gift card to buy something online through GoodSearch that I was going to buy anyway, then our PTO would get another percentage of that sale. I do this all the time when I order books from Barnes and Noble. Talk about a win-win-win situation.
